Integrity Construction Services, LLC began in February 2007. After a rewarding 24-year career with a commercial construction company, Brad Heemstra pursued his life-long dream of establishing his own construction firm. While constructing a new building from the ground up was a familiar process for Brad, the new challenge was to build a successful company and create a team of construction professionals who focus on customer service, teamwork and continuous improvement.
COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION WORK

The company’s first project was Cardinal Terrace, a 17-plex apartment located just south of the Iowa State campus. The project was secured on a competitive basis and involved extensive site preparation, below grade storage and higher-end finishes.
Our next significant project was a 100-bed nursing facility addition in Boone. This led to a 2nd phase project for a new 15-unit assisted living wing along with an extensive renovation of the office and common living areas. Several other commercial renovation projects completed early in the company’s history included office space, sororities, human service agencies, ISU residence halls and classrooms, medical facilities and retail space.
Signature design/build projects in Integrity’s commercial history included the Wilson Toyota Service Shop Facility/Sales Building Façade and a 30,000 square foot addition to The Plex for Christ Community Church in Ames.
Integrity Construction has provided professional services as an Owner’s Representative/Construction Advisor for the Ames Public Library renovation, the North Grand Mall site development and building expansion and The Plex Phase I building for Christ Community Church.
RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE

After gaining some ground on the commercial side, Integrity Construction began work in residential contracting. In spite of a major economic recession and housing slump, Integrity Construction started building single-family homes. After only a few years, the company’s residential portfolio included a full range of projects from entry-level homes to high-end custom homes.
REMODELING EXPERIENCE

A few years ago, we discovered more and more people wanting to stay in their current home, but desired to make it their ideal space. So we set out to create a team specifically designated for remodels. Our remodel projects have included, but are not limited to, kitchen and bathroom makeovers, basement finishing, extensive additions, exterior redesigns, and much more.
