GE Appliance Premium Finish Care Tips

It is recommended that the interior and exterior finish surfaces be treated similar to high-end coatings on automobiles.  In order to avoid scratching or damaging the interior and exterior finish surfaces, they should be cleaned with warm water and a mild soap or detergent solution. The appliance finish surface should then be wiped dry with a soft, clean cloth or microfiber towel to avoid streaking or water spotting.  A clean micro fiber cloth or a soft clean cloth is recommended for both cleaning and drying.  Warm soapy solutions should be used with the microfiber or soft clean cloth to gently clean the surface without scratching.

Black Stainless, Black Slate & Slate

Keep in mind these finishes are not engineered for use with soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive cleaners any cleaning product containing chlorine bleach and/or abrasive cloths and paper towels.  Use of these types of products may scratch and/or dull the finish.

In order to care for Stainless, we additionally recommend regularly using an oil based polish to keep this exterior finish bright & glossy.  Using a soft polishing cloth while wiping “with the grain” will help keep your Stainless appliances shiny.
