Our residential construction experience in Ames and Central Iowa for new home construction has ranged from entry-level starter homes to large, custom single-family homes; from smaller townhomes to multi-family or multi-generational homes. We have remodeled sunrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, finished off neglected basements, completed family room and deck additions, and provided general repairs and maintenance to our clients’ homes. Remodeling your home is a big undertaking and can be overwhelming. However, we work hard to ease the complex process by breaking it down into specific steps for you to be aware of and understand. When you focus on one step at a time, the process not only becomes manageable, it becomes fun and rewarding. The six steps outlined below capture the process we take at Integrity Construction in residential remodeling. It all starts with an introduction meeting. INTRODUCTION MEETING
Meet with our team to help us capture your vision and goals for a new home or remodel project. We focus on listening! You come with all of your thoughts, desires and preferences, then we take those and turn them into a Preliminary Design.
BUDGET ANALYSIS

PRELIMINARY DESIGN
We prepare initial floor plans that demonstrate a preliminary solution and share it with you. We also discuss concepts for the exterior shape and preferred style for your home.
COST MODEL

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Here we develop more details and refinements for the floor plan, house elevations, and site layout. We also prepare “outline specifications” that describe the building materials and finishes in greater detail.
FINAL PRICING

FINAL DESIGN & PROPOSAL
Finish the detailed construction drawings and specifications, gather competitive bids from our sub-contractors and suppliers, and present a detailed construction proposal with firm pricing. You’ll never be blindsided by an increased final price when all is said and done.
OPTIONS, ALLOWANCES, & CHANGE REQUESTS

CONSTRUCTION PHASE
The fun begins. During the construction phase we meet with you regularly and guide you through the material and color selection process. We take it one step at a time so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
CLOSING & FINAL PAYMENT

COMPLETION
After the final cleaning is finished, we’ll review every aspect of your home together to answer any questions and cover home maintenance and warranty information. All that’s left is to move in!
